Copper Clad Ground Rod
Copper clad ground rods
are used in grounding systems to provide a low-impedance path for electrical
current to flow to the earth. These rods are made of a steel core that is
coated with a layer of high-quality copper. The copper layer provides excellent
conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the steel core provides strength
and durability.
Yokelink Copper bonded ground rods are commonly used in
commercial and industrial applications where a reliable and long-lasting
grounding system is required. They can be driven into the ground using a hammer drill or a specialized ground rod driver. Once installed, they should be bonded to other grounding components using copper wire or grounding straps.
The most common size for
copper clad ground rods is 5/8 & 3/4 inch in diameter and 6 to 10 feet in length.
Other lengths and 1/2 inch diameter Ground Rods are available. When you need Ground Rods, refer to above our catalog.…
