Purpose:
Phosphorus Pentasulfide is an Agricultural Grade Phosphate and Tech Grade Phosphate which primarily
used in the lubricant additives market as a key intermediate ingredient in the
production of Zinc Dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP). ZDDP is a critical compound
in engine oils inhibiting oxidation and providing anti-wear protection.
P2S5 is also used in the production of organophosphate insecticides, flotation
chemicals, pharmaceutical cleaning applications and developing battery
technology.
