Lithium manganese dioxide battery is a disposable battery whose positive electrode is made of specially heat-treated electrolytic manganese dioxide powder. The negative electrode is made of lithium and the battery uses an organic electrolyte. The battery has a nominal voltage of 3.0V (about twice that of general alkaline/nickel-cadmium/nickel-metal hydride batteries), an initial voltage of 3.3V, and a stable operating voltage of 2.9V. The final discharge voltage is 2V.
