Product Description S235jr steel plate is an European standard non-alloy structural steel plate, that is one of the carbon structural steel plates with mild carbon content. It is generally manufactured by hot rolling process. Hot rolled S235jr carbon steel plate is widely used in welding, bolt connection and riveting structures. The surface treatment of S235jr low carbon steel plate is divided into two categories: ordinary grade surface (FA) and pickling surface. Slight and local defects such as pitting, concave surface and scratch with depth (or height) not exceeding half of the thickness tolerance of the steel plate are allowed on the surface, but the minimum allowable thickness of the steel plate shall be guaranteed. For the pickling surface of higher level surface (FB), local defects that do not affect the formability are allowed on the surface, such as slight scratch, slight indentation, slight pitting, slight roller printing and color difference.
