After being scratched or bitten by a carious animal, the wound
should be treated in a timely and correct manner, strictly disinfected, the
risk of the wound should be assessed. Then rabies vaccine should be vaccinated
according to the results. Five-dose rabies vaccine should be carried out on D
0-3-7-14-28 respectively. If the patient was already vaccinated before,
which means that the patient has the re-exposure , if the re-exposure happens
within -6 months starting from the last injection of last immunization
procedure, no booster immunization is needed; if it happens within 6 months-1
year, so 1 dose on day 0,3; if it happens within 1 year- 3 years, 1 dose
on day 0. 3. 7; if it happens more than 3 years after the first immunization
procedure, get a full immune procedure.
