Sodium phytate
[Product introduction]
Sodium Phytate, along with natural antioxidants such as tocopherol and ascorbic acid palmitate, is utilized in Food & Nutrition formulations that are susceptible to oxidative degradation, providing protection for delicate ingredients like unsaturated oils or flavorings. As a Natural Antioxidant, Sodium Phytate not only preserves the nutritional value and freshness of foods but also enhances their shelf life. In rinse products, sodium Phytate serves a dual purpose: maintaining foam properties even in the presence of hard water and preventing insoluble salts of fatty acids from settling in soap. Moreover, when used at concentrations exceeding 0.5%, sodium phytase effectively fades discoloration and aging spots on the skin. It stimulates the natural shedding of pigmented cells on the skin surface and reduces melanin synthesis in newly emerging epidermal cells by inhibiting tyrosinase activity.
