1. Cracking failure during die-casting processing: Under the action of injection force, cracks will appear in weak areas of the die-casting parts, especially when the marking marks or machining marks on the forming surface of the die-casting parts are not polished, or small cracks will first appear at the formed corners. When there are brittle phases or coarse grains at the grain boundaries, it is easy to fracture. When brittle fracture occurs, the crack propagation is fast, which is a dangerous factor for the fracture failure of die castings.
For this reason, on the one hand, all scratches and machining marks on the surface of the die casting must be polished, even if they are in the pouring system area.
