Guitar shape characteristics
Guitar (Italian: Chitarra), also translated as six-stringed harp. The panel and back are flat, the waist is generally angular and concave, and the classical guitar is generally not dented. The neck is wide and long, and the fingerboard has a string pillow and is equipped with a number of narrow and slightly raised metal bars called "pieces", which divide the string into many semitones.
As a member of the string family of Musical Instruments, a guitar is a stringed playing instrument that produces sound by plucking the strings above it. It is played by strumming the strings with one hand while the fingers of the other hand are pressed against the fingerboard, which is a small metal strip covering the neck of the instrument. The resulting sound is enhanced by the guitar's sound box.
