Pine Bark Extract
Pine Bark Extract is a class of substances extracted from pine bark. The pine bark stripped from the tree is collected, flattened and extracted. It contains a large number of compounds called OPCs (oligomeric proanthocyanidins). OPCs have been found in many plants since they were isolated from peanut shells by French scientist Dr. Jack Meskelly in 1947. A large number of studies have shown that OPCs are effective antioxidants, and they are non-toxic, non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic and have no side effects. It is very safe to use.
