HY930-50 is a new and innovative superplasticizer designed for ready-mix concrete, based on polycarboxylic ether polymers.
The first generation of high-efficiency water reducers, naphthalene-based and melamine-based, were developed in the early 1960s. They were known as superplasticizers due to their superior performance compared to ordinary water reducers, such as lignosulfonates developed in the late 1930s. The second generation of high-efficiency water reducers is aminosulfonates, and the third generation is the graft copolymer with both sulfonic acid and carboxylic acid groups, which is the most important and best-performing high-performance water reducer.
